Igor Vulokh

Igor Vulokh's early passion was for 19th century traditional landscape painting. Early on he looked for the symbolism of landscape in a modern abstract voice in his renderings. Also, the influence of the impressionists and the avant-garde helped his unique fantasy and intuition.

His creative life knows no special disruption and revolution, no radical change. Each new work comes from a retrieved conceptual renovation, and ideas become further developed. Nature is Vulokh's muse and inspirational source.

The invisible geometry of Vulokh's work is enriched through colour and structure, giving an emotional, sometimes subconscious level of not stopping the relentless flow of water, the light of the sun warming the air and the briskness of spring evenings again.
