The artistic emotion Vladimir Andreenkovs is constructivist in the broadest sense of the word. It includes imagination, will, creative activity of the artist as well as analytical and synthetic vision.
The 1960s were a time of transformation from realistic rendering to analysing objects for Vladimir Andreenkov. It was a time to look for the rhythmic movement inherent in the complex structure of the visible object.
In the 70s and 80s the artist returned to drawing and withdrew from the "Transformations". This style came about while compiling drafts for a book as he discovered the relationship between the rectangles and their diagonals while marking the positions for the photos.
From the 90s until today the "Harmonies" have finally emerged. These works give the artist further structure to his inner world and they offer a new level on the way to clearing out mistakes blocking freedom.
His painful search is always accompanied by music, which is the source of his artistic explorations. In the wink of an eye, when a successful idea manifests itself, music is especially meaningful and his whole essence is felt with celebratory chords.
