Severin Infante
Severin and Sophia Infante appeal to photography as a genre and a way to go on with the reflections on the world, the path and art, the infinity and the limits. While using the nature as the artistic scene just like Francisco Infante, they go further and do not use a mirror or a structure as a mean of creating an image.
The light is what becomes the tool of the artist, it is obvious and irreal at the same time. The miracle of these photographs is that the long exposure leaves the light traces to the viewer while erasing a person’s silhouette. The point is about artist’s invisible presence in the picture – there’s no computer editing or any other collage – and it is also the Infante’s tradition.
